Lets talk KidzQuest
KidzQuest is a ministry of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ to equip and empower the kids and Sunday school teachers of our organization. Each year we will minister to our kids at General Ministry Conference and National Youth Convention. Every spring we host a Sunday School certification conference to certify the teachers and Sunday School directors of our organization.
Who's in charge here anyway?
In 2011, at the ALJC General Ministries Conference, Nathan was ask to head up a new children's department for the organization. This new department was named KidzQuest. The national youth department, ages 13 and up, is called the Youth Crusaders, so it just seemed fit the national children's department would be KidzQuest.
Nathan ask Josh Wilson to come on board to help out. Josh's title is secretary, but Nathan says he is his partner. Together Nathan and Josh plan KidzQuest events for GMC and NYC, as well as a national Sunday School teachers conference and they constantly share ideas through the KidzQuest pages found every month in the Apostolic Witness.
Both Nathan and Josh are experienced in working with youth and children and bring an excitement to this awesome ministry.
Nathan's ministry has been interesting to say the least. From working with the youth, teaching Sunday School, and working in the music department, however, his ministry changed drastically in 1994 when he visited a magic shop in Cincinnati, Ohio. From that one visit, Nathan began to incorporate small illusions and simple card tricks into his sales job, banquets, and eventually his ministry.
Nathan never thought in a million years that he would be an international children's evangelist. In 1997, his bookings became so that he had to quit his job to keep up with all the dates, traveling across the US, Canada, and several trips over seas.
